Battalion Chief 6
Osceola County Fire Rescue is currently divided into three battalions under the operations division. Battalion Chief 6 is in command of the central battalion which borders Kissimmee, St. Cloud and Orange County. Responsibilities include the day to day operations of stations 61,62,63,64,65).      Battalion Chief 6
also responds to a variety of emergency calls including structure fires, medical calls involving air transport, motor vehicle collisions involving entrapment or multiple critical patients,hazardous materials and special operations incidents,while acting as a liaison between the stations and administration to provide a constant flow of information along the chain of command. Battalion Chief 6 works a traditional 24/48 schedule and also attends numerous required meetings when off duty.
